EVE Online new ship & Free Implant

Recently, many good news for EVE Online fans just showed up last week. And it turns out those news were not jokes when we heard of them. They are truly happens to us now. Ok, check them out below.

1. The first big news for EVE players is that: EVE Online Reveals the Gallente Talos
At the last week of October, CCP has revealed another player-created ship the Gallente Talos. This ship will be making its debut with EVE Online's winter expansion. The Talos, previously known as Seraphim, was designed by Michael Schierup during the EVE Online, and was created during the event of: Create a Starship Contest on Deviant Art. He is a lucky man creating an astounding ship for all EVE players.

As for the name of the Talos, source can be traced back to Greek mythological bronze giant and guardian of the island of Crete who is the counterpart to the Minmatar Tornado and is capable of fitting weapons normally reserved for larger vessels at the expense of defense. It's a long and complex description, but it's vividly and sounds terrific. According to CCP, the Talos specializes as an “in your face glass cannon” and is referred to as a smaller and more expendable Vindicator.

Wow, once I saw the ship’s name, I can't stop loving it. Yes, I want to own it as soon as it released. I can even buy one from SwagVault if it's available. Why should I choose SwagVault? Since there are huge discount and price protection on this SwagVault, and I trust this site.

2. Another day, another piece of good news for EVE players comes: EVE Online offering free implant to New Players

It seems like everyone loves free stuff. Free item, free giveaways, even a discount code, we all love them. Nevertheless, anytime under any occasions, you want free, you need to be eligible. Like a prize contest in SwagVault, oh, it's none of requirement. Sorry. Everyone can participate in this contest. But if you want to get the free implant on EVE Online, there is an essential requirement that you need to match. That is: Are you a new player in EVE Online? If not, then you could not eligible to get the free implant. Sorry. You should check the details first.

For a limited time, CCP is granting all new EVE Online accounts a free Cerebral Accelerator implant. Please pay attention that the free implant is only for the new players. Well, the implant will enhance the speed at which a new pilot can develop skills and rapidly absorb information. The new implant won't last forever though. This is a little frustrating. But something is better than nothing.

According to the devs, “The only drawback to this implant is that capsuleer training renders it ineffective after a while; as such, it will cease to function for pilots who have been registered for more than 35 days.” Not so bad, ha.

And, additionally, another great bonus for those new players is that, players can also receive a rare EVE ship for a limited time by inviting friends to play that choose to upgrade their account through the Buddy Program. Isn’t it awesome for the new players? I think it's definitely yes.

So, this winter, it's worthy of the time we waiting for EVE Online. No matter you are new players or experienced players for this game, this winter EVE will surprises us. I couldn't wait till then. I should pick up one more time card from SwagVault and prepare more EVE ISK. Don't you agree with me? So take action, go to SwagVault.

CCP have the opinion of that EVE is a healthy subscriber-based game

EVE Online - space station

EVE Online will have a brilliant future. According to a report saying that GameSpot has a new interview with EVE Online lead designer Kristoffer Touborg, and though it's a bit dated (it was conducted at last week's GDC, and obviously prior to yesterday's layoff announcement), it still features some interest nuggets relating to EVE and its immediate future.

Touborg confirms what all the company dev blogs have been saying lately, "EVE's flying-in-space elements are once again the top priority", in terms of CCP's bread-and-butter spaceship gameplay,. "The number of people working on things related to flying in space has probably tripled, so we are ready to start delivering a load of content," he says.

This is a deeply discussed interview indeed. Since they have touched on EVE's payment model, and specifically, why CCP has resisted the urge to jump on the free-to-play bandwagon. "We are a really healthy, subscriber-based game," Touborg says. "Does that mean we will be a subscriber-based game in five or 10 years? Maybe not, but as it currently stands, we have 400,000 subscribers, and there's really no reason to turn that bucket upside-down."

EVE Online, Supercapitals & supercarriers under way

This winter, EVE Online will release some long-anticipated ship balancing. Specifically, it’s the capital ship balancing. Finally it’s the time to make a change.

Let’s view briefly the blame and complaits for the stagnant situation. For a long time, there has been an outcry in the community that the fleet flights are stagnating and are just not as fun as they should be. Dozens of hundreds of pages of forum threads are talking about the awkward dilemma, as well as in blogs and articles. And the proliferation of supercapital ships has been roundly criticized in various discourses over the years. As the complaint states: "Supercapitals can effectively deal with any size of target, and killing them takes a tremendous amount of damage. What this means is that with very few exceptions, the fleet with the most supercarriers wins."The issues keep poppoing up, “Supercapitals are too hard to kill”, “Supercarriers are far too versatile” “The Titan superweapon is too powerful” … “Sub-capitals are useless in fleet fights”. Complaints are on fire. This tough situation makes CCP have no choice but to make a change.

Analyzing the issues one by one, then it’s time to develop solutions to solve those problems. So what’s the solution? As a result, EVE team is looking at ways to even the battlefield. Solutions range from reducing the overall shield, armor and hull hitpoints of supercapitals by 20% to "supercarriers will now have a smaller drone bay and will only be able to put fighters and fighter bombers in it." CCP Tallest said, devs plan to make supercapitals "a little bit weaker, but not gut them completely. We're doing a simple 20% reduction in shield, armor, and hull hitpoints on both supercarriers and titans." Those opinions are great. Specifically, there will be more changes for the Titan superweapon, that is the "uselessness" of super-capitals, eliminating the log out as tactic problem and other balance issues. If you want to know the details for planned changes, dreadnoughts, sub-capitals, and the oft-emplyed logoff exploit, you can visit EVE Online official blog.

Only the gradually updated gameplay will bring the best gaming experience for its gamers. Like Tallest said, "We are changing the logoff mechanics in such a way that as long as your enemies are actively engaged in fighting you, logging off is not going to save your ship." When we players are unwilling to logoff the game, this is another time EVE Online can be considered successfully and competitive. As SwagVault, we are always dedicating to find the best way to serve the customers well. With big promotional activity is under way. It will be online soon.  So stay tuned to SwagVault, gain the maximum saving.

EVE Online : The New Feature Offers Customers Video Playlists

According to the one of the CCP new devs blog, a new feature which is available in their Captain's Quarters will be added that players can add their videos to the giant flatscreen.

First, players have to convert their desired videos into the .BIK file format. Once that's done it's as simple as dropping the videos into the game cache's CQScreenVideos folder (create if it doesn't exist), and voila! You're done.

This feature was actually discovered by the intrepid EVE Online community a few weeks back, and it looks like the new dev blog was put together in order to give players official instructions on how to do this since the cat's out of the bag anyways and they don't want people accidentally messing up their games.
What do you plan on watching in your Captain's Quarters? Share your unique thoughts in the comments below. Oh, and keep it clean now!

EVE Online : New Wiki Beta Makes Its Debut

EVE Online players who know the game inside and out may want to head over to the new and improved beta version of the EVE Online Wiki. Devs have implemented several structural changes as well as removed the moderation queue and more.

EVElopedia and you! I’m thinking most of you will just want somewhere you can go search for a guide on advanced mining techniques, how to be a space ninja, or who are the Goonswarm – I like you people. A lot of you however will want to make new articles or update old ones – I hold you people close to my heart. Some stalwart souls will even want to really get involved and help us develop and progress the EVElopedia – you are my special people.
If you want to help further, how do you do it? We have a volunteer team (named YARR, much to their modest delight) who help us develop, support and moderate the EVElopedia. These guys liaise with you and then talk to us about what you need and require and then we get that implemented (new extension, hate the font size, etc). They happen to be recruiting!
